New active challenge 🏃🏻‍♀️🏆

Active school has set a new challenge for the next few weeks. We want you to run/walk as much as you can each day and record your distance using a parents phone, watch, google maps-whichever works for you!(or if you have your own Fitbit watch use it🤗) Send me in your total weekly distance every Friday and I will add up the total distance for First class. The class who runs/walks the furthest distance will win some special active vouchers to be used when we get back to school. I will be taking part too to help build up our distance.🏃🏻‍♀️ It would be great for us to win some vouchers so make sure you send in your distances! 🏃‍♀️ Check out the active school page for more info.

Weeks 6th - 22nd May :)

Hi girls,

I hope you are all staying safe and well at home. :) Well done to everyone that took part in Active Home Week last week, it was a great success! :) I loved seeing all your pictures and videos.
Don't forget to send me on a picture of your completed Active Home week chart as soon as you can. Try your best to continue to keep active for 60 minutes each day, especially when the weather is so good. There are lots of fun ideas on the active school page!

Here is your work and resources for the next two and a half weeks. We are focusing on the same topics in English, Maths, Irish and SESE for the two  and a half weeks so I thought it would be best to upload it altogether. As always, there is no pressure to complete all the work, just do what you can. :)
I have attached a few worksheets this week to go along with their work. You do not need to print out these worksheets if you don't want, the girls can look at them online and write down the answers in a copy/page. If you have any questions please give me an email. :)

A fun new website to make reading more enjoyable! :)

Raz-kids: I have set up an account for all the pupils on this website. This website allows them to complete readers at their own level and move up accordingly. They can also record themselves reading and it has different activities in literacy. Through this, I can monitor their reading and look at different activities completed. This can be found through the following link: http://www.kidsa-z.com/main/Login? I have a class account created which they can join, the username is: hannahcarr and each student has an individual password. If you would like them to take part in this, please email me and I will send on their password. Again, there is no pressure to complete this.
This website is new to me too so we will see how it goes! :)

As well as this, Amazon have cancelled al subscriptions of books and audio stories for children, so they can be instantly streamed on your desktop, laptop, phone or tablet by using the following likn: http://stories.audible.com/discovery. These stories come in 6 different languages!

Hi girls,
I hope you are all keeping well and staying safe at home with your family. I have attached a file below with a list of work that can be completed this week. Remember there is no pressure to get all this work completed, just do as much as you can. :)
I will leave my email here for you if you want to get in contact with me :)  You can send me on pictures of work you have completed or pieces of artwork/projects that you want to show me. If you have any questions about anything regarding the work just give me an email and I will get back to you as soon as I can :)
