What is the Parent's Room?

​The Parent's Room is an integral part of our school community. It is a room of many functions: Breakfast Club from 8.30-8.50
​am; Homework Club Dining Room at 3.30pm;  Venue for Parent classes and courses; a safe space where parents can meet with the HSCL for a chat; Afterschool Cookery Class and much more...

BENEFITS OF GETTING INVOLVED:

• According to research children tend to stay in school longer and are more likely to continue their education after secondary school.
• It can also help children develop a more positive attitude towards school and increase self-confidence

WHY SHOULD PARENTS GET INVOLVED?

​Parents play a vital part in our school and research has shown that  if parents get involved in their child's school there are many benefits. Getting involved in your child's education can help them enjoy school more, get better grades and improve behaviour to name but a few.

 You don't have to spend hours and hours volunteering in school for your child to benefit. Even if you can share 1 hour of your time in the school year it can make a difference - every little helps!
