'Many parents are wondering what to do about upcoming plans they have made for their daughters First Holy Communion and whether or not it will be going ahead. These are uncertain times - nobody really knows what is going to happen and unfortunately we do not know either.
The Archdiocese of Dublin have not issued us with any information yet regarding this year's First Holy Communion. It will be their decision as to whether it will go ahead or not. Of course, when we are informed we will let the parents know straight away.
Until then, you can keep up-to-date with the Archdiocese of Dublin via their website and social media:

Most parents will think, No way, there's no time for meditation in my life - and given how all-consuming and overwhelming parenting can often be, I can understand why.
And yet, if we consider the numerous benefits of meditation — of finding a little more spaciousness in our minds to be less reactive and more responsive; of learning what it means to be more present and engaged with our kids — then meditation can be viewed as an effective, rewarding parenting tool
Imagine the positive impact for the entire household, of being calmer, softer, more compassionate, and more content … and you need only meditate for as little as 10minutes a day.
Headspace is practical and designed to fit into our busy, stressful lives. Andy, the guy who created it and narrates the meditations is very easy to listen too!
Give it a go...it might just help a little!

As many of you know, Ms. Quigg has been running the Cookery Club and the older children have been busy cooking up a storm over the past few months. Here is one of the recipes they have made so far. It's Shepherd's Pie.
I am sure many parents will only be delighted with a night off cooking, so it's time to step up girls and show off your cooking skills!!
Seomra Ranga are running a daily quiz for children. There are 20 questions and they should be able to find the answers on the internet by themselves.
You need to fill in a form with a contact email address and have the answers submitted by 3pm each day to be in with a chance to win the prize.

Scavenger Hunts are a great way to pass some time and learn something too!
Here are a few of the ready made scavenger hunts from the Twinkl website.
You won't be able to find everything on the page but you could just focus on how many the children can find, rather than trying to complete the whole page.
Or you could make your own one at home - all you need is a pencil and some paper.
While the sun is shining it might be nice to get out for a walk and bring the page with you.
There are also some scavenger hunts you can do at home while reading books, using a dictionary (if you have one) and researching different countries around the world.
